- <p> After Inauguration Day, DAN QUAYLE could have breathed
- easy and embraced 1993 as "Miller time"--a well-deserved
- chance to relax, to rediscover Marilyn and to reminisce about
- the days when a morally uncompromised talking horse ruled the
- airwaves. Instead, the former Veep has been busy planning his
- memoirs. By Christmas 1994, Americans can look forward to giving
- (and receiving!) a Quayle book, which, as the publisher's
- announcement pointedly states, "will describe his political
- career of 16 years in his own words." Well, apparently not all
- his own words--Quayle will tackle the proj ect with an as yet
- unnamed collaborator.
